The building is the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce of Pesaro and Urbino and has three floors each with an area of about 700 square metres.
A careful and thorough documentary survey was carried out, involving research at the State Archive of Pesaro, the archives of the Chamber of Commerce and the archive of the Technical Study Firm of Marche Macerata. Many reports were also drawn from the book "Il Palazzo dell’Economia Corporativa di Pesaro 1933-36" [The Palace of the Corporate Economy of Pesaro 1933-36] by Prof. Riccardo Gulli.
The series of on site tests consisted of: load testing of the floor decking on the first floor; coring the concrete pillars with on site carbonation testing and compression testing in the laboratory; sampling reinforcing bars of the pillars with relative tensile and bending tests in the laboratory; survey tests to determine the construction details; thermograph tests and geophysical surveys.
The final structural analysis was carried out using the finite element method with non-linear static analysis, associated with a level of appropriate knowledge.
